Title: Showroom Coordinator

Summary: The Showroom Coordinator is a crucial supporting role within the Ambiente team, responsible for managing showroom organization and ensuring smooth operations. With a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, the Showroom Coordinator assists with sales and marketing activities, maintains showroom displays, manages inventory, and handles administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Interact with customers by warmly greeting them, being available for both virtual and in-person design meetings, and ensuring your presence in the showroom to accommodate unexpected appointments.
- Field inquiries through various channels and accurately gather customer information for the appropriate team members.
Sales Support:
- Schedule virtual and in-person appointments. Support remote designers by facilitating virtual appointments in the showroom by meeting with clients and gathering materials.
- Assist sales team with presentations by scheduling, facilitating communication, creating slideshows, organizing necessary materials, and arranging logistics such as catering.
Marketing Support:
- Manage products and collection pages on the website, ensuring accurate data entry for new items and providing an engaging virtual showroom experience.
- Assist with creative tasks, contributing to our digital presence by crafting engaging social media captions, scheduling posts, and occasionally helping create captivating email newsletters and blogs.
Showroom Operations:
- Coordinate showroom operations to create an appealing and welcoming environment. This includes updating displays, removing discontinued products, and adding new products.
- Ensure showroom organization, cleanliness, and orderliness.
- Facilitate the Showroom Designer rotation by directing new clients to the appropriate team member and connecting existing clients with their respective Showroom Designer.
Inventory and Sample Management:
- Manage customer and showroom samples. Receive and inspect incoming sample shipments and communicate with Showroom Designers.
- Ensure the tile library is stocked, organized, and up to date. Monitor inventory levels, restock as needed, and maintain inventory management systems.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and order management.
- Connect with suppliers by setting up meetings, maintaining pricelists, organizing supplier documents, and participating in vendor training to maintain product knowledge.
- Handle inquiries from customers regarding inventory, orders, and product information.
Qualifications:
- College Degree/Diploma and/or prior experience in a related field
- Interest in interior design and previous experience in the design industry
- Design skills including the ability to read blueprints, construction specifications, and architectural drawings. We are willing to teach the right candidate
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, positive attitude - team player
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and good driving record
